Let’s be honest, we all want a perfectly toned, firm, and pert butt. But for most of us, the hours needed in the gym to achieve (and then maintain) the perfect booty make it a hard goal to reach.

This is no doubt the reason behind surgical butt lifts seeing a huge surge in popularity over the past couple of decades. But what if you don’t want to face the risks, expense, or recovery time that come with this type of surgery?

Well, you’re in luck. Because non-surgical butt lifts are not only a thing, but they really do work.

From Sculptra injectable fillers to body contouring treatments, non-surgical butt lifts are a great way to lift, smoothen, plumpen, reshape, and generally revitalize your booty – all without having to go under the knife or spend hours in the gym every day.

A butt lift without surgery might not achieve quite the same level of results as an invasive procedure, but it’s considerably safer, has zero downtime, and will still give you results you’re going to get excited about.

So what exactly does a non-surgical butt lift involve? How effective are they, and how long do non-surgical butt lifts last? Keep reading to find out…

What is a non-surgical butt lift?

As the name suggests, it’s a butt lift without the surgery.

The Brazilian butt lift (BBL) is perhaps the most famous type of butt lift procedure. This is an invasive surgical procedure that involves using liposuction to extract fat from one part of the body and transferring it to the buttocks – resulting in a fuller, rounder, perter bottom.

However, it’s also the procedure that has repeatedly hit the headlines for being one of the riskiest cosmetic surgical procedures out there

Non-surgical butt lifts, on the other hand, are completely non-invasive yet able to achieve similar results in sculpting, toning, and rounding out the buttocks – with none of the risk and none of the side effects.

The most common form of non-surgical butt lift uses injectables – such as Sculptra or dermal fillers – to reshape and fill out the buttocks. Just as we use fillers to add volume or subtly reshape the face, these wonderful and versatile injectables can sculpt, smoothen, lift, and add volume to your buttocks as well – much like a Brazilian butt lift, but using a far safer method.

Another popular and very effective option is a body contouring treatment such as Emsculpt Neo, which can tone and lift the butt through enhanced fat reduction and muscle building – once again without needing to go anywhere near a scalpel.

Often, a combination of treatments is the best way to achieve the butt of your dreams, and a number of factors will determine what is best for you, so a consultation at a reputable med spa should always be your starting point.

Non-surgical butt lift with Sculptra

Sculptra for the buttocks is one of the most well-known options for a butt lift without surgery.

Sculptra is an FDA-approved injectable that’s classed as a filler, but works in a very different way to other dermal fillers. Known as a biostimulator, it is injected deep into the dermal layer of the skin where it then works alongside the body’s natural functions to stimulate a natural production of collagen far greater than the body would otherwise produce. Over time, this leads to a noticeable increase in volume to the targeted area – plumpening, smoothing, reshaping, and rejuvenating the skin.

Sculptra was originally designed for facial rejuvenation, but its remarkable results have led to it being used to treat a wide range of concerns across the whole body, including smoothing out hip dips, addressing cellulite, and most famously – as an excellent non-invasive alternative to the Brazilian butt lift.

Like all fillers, Sculptra isn’t permanent. It does last for around 2 years though, which is much longer than other types of filler. However, this is one of the only downsides to using Sculptra for buttocks augmentation, as it’s not permanent and the cost can often be high as more vials are usually needed in the buttocks area.

But don’t fret – as there are still other options if your budget doesn’t stretch to a full Sculptra butt lift. One of our other top recommendations for buttocks augmentation is the incredible body contouring treatment, Emsculpt – which is highly effective on its own, or can be combined with smaller doses of Sculptra for even greater results.

Non-surgical butt lift with Emsculpt Neo

Another extremely effective non-invasive option for lifting, toning, and reshaping the buttocks is the revolutionary body contouring treatment, Emsculpt Neo

This procedure combines high-intensity electromagnetic technology with radiofrequency energy to simultaneously dissolve fat and build muscle. A 30-minute session induces the equivalent of 24,000 muscle contractions, while the heat generated by the radiofrequency energy breaks down fat cells.

The result? Up to 30% fat reduction and 25% increase in muscle. Essentially – the results you dream of achieving from your workouts, in a fraction of the time it would take to achieve on your own.

Like Sculptra, Emsculpt isn’t permanent… the muscle you build needs to be maintained, just like normal. But whether used alone or in combination with Sculptra, Emsculpt can give you incredible results in toning and reshaping your butt, in one of the most natural ways possible and without having to face any of the risks, pain, or recovery time that come with surgery.

It’s important to note that Emsculpt is aimed at people who already have a good level of health and fitness, a stable weight, and who want a little help achieving the perfect butt (or other parts of their body); it’s not a weight-loss treatment. But if losing weight is part of your booty goals, there’s another option for you to consider: Semaglutide.

Semaglutide for overall weight loss

Semaglutide is the first FDA-approved weight-loss treatment, and it’s proven to be a game-changer for people struggling to lose weight.

An injectable-form ingredient that was originally used to treat diabetes, Semaglutide mimics a hormone that regulates appetite, food intake, and blood sugar. This means that feelings of hunger, food cravings, and overeating are all drastically reduced when taking Semaglutide, which in turn leads to fast yet safe weight loss, without ever feeling deprived

Taken in the form of a simple once-a-week injection, Semaglutide has become one of the most popular and effective weight-loss treatments in the US, with most people losing around 1–3 lbs per week.
Depending on your starting weight, your practitioner will recommend the duration of a Semaglutide treatment, and when the best time to combine it with other treatments will be. However, Semaglutide, followed by Emsculpt and/or Sculptra for your buttocks, could well be the answer to achieving the body – and booty – you’ve always wanted.

How long do non-surgical butt lifts last?

Non-surgical butt lifts typically last around 1 to 2 years, but they can last as long as 5 years – depending on the exact treatments you go for, the number of initial treatments you have, the results you’re trying to achieve, and your maintenance plan.

One of the best things about these particular procedures is that their results can always be extended through maintenance – both in the form of continued top-up treatments, but also by maintaining muscle strength and fat loss through a healthy diet and exercise.

Sculptra works by prompting collagen growth, which isn’t something you can achieve or continue on your own. But maintenance treatments every year or two can extend the results for many years, and the increased collagen production naturally maintains a more youthful and pert derriere for longer, postponing the signs of aging that would otherwise come sooner.

Emsculpt and Semaglutide, on the other hand, are both treatments that not only produce visibly impressive results, but they also actively improve your physical condition. This makes them excellent options for long-term results, as they give you a great kick-start in achieving the body you dream of, which is then much easier to maintain of your own accord.
